Hello Friends!

I'm excited to connect and share about all that I've been up to.

New newsletter - I've started a newsletter and will send out the first edition next week.   I created it to be a public journal of favorite things that help me decompress, simplify and cultivate an eternally-minded perspective.  It will contain (almost) weekly thoughts about the things I'm learning, enjoying and photographing in hopes that it offers you a chance to exhale and be empowered for the week ahead. Sometimes I'll share behind-the-scenes stories about my assignments, or I might share some of my favorite photo tips to help you make better pictures on any device (including your phone).  Everyone who subscribes will have access to my growing library of beautiful, custom phone wallpaper created from some of my favorite images.  Sign up here.

Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library - Earlier this year I was hired by the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library to document the ongoing construction of this amazing and unprecedented project.  It is a true honor to partner with this talented group of people and capture epic pictures of the people and processes bringing this vision to life.  I will continue to visit the building site at least once a month until its completion in 2026.  You can see updates here, and newsletter subscribers will be the first to know when new pictures go live.

"Didn't you move to Nashville?" - Yup, I sure did, but my whole family still feels incredible ties to Western North Dakota which is why my ongoing assignment for the TR Presidential Library is such a dream come true.  And the North Dakota Badlands are still my favorite place to decompress and ignite my creativity.

Artwork on display at Main Street Summit October 24-25 - Later in October I'll be traveling to Watford City, ND, to hang some huge, 88-inch prints at the Rough Rider Center for Governor Burgum's Main Street Summit event.  If you'd like to see some of my new work printed larger-than-life, stop by and check it out.  I'm still working on the exact timing but I hope to get them up a few days before the event and leave them up for a day or two afterwards.  So even if you aren't attending the Summit there should be time before and after to see the huge prints in person.

Image of the week - Each week I'll share an image that feels especially relevant and include some brief details about how it was created or why it stands out.

This week's image - "Prairie Dawn."  This picture was captured on a warm summer morning from my (former) driveway and continues to be a favorite.  It always gives me peace when I see it, I hope it does the same for you.  Image not showing up?  Click here.

Wishing you an awesome week,

Chad Z

PS - This is just an announcement and not the actual newsletter. If you want to subscribe and receive the custom wallpaper for your phone, be sure to sign up here.  Thanks for joining me.
