Please Note: All items are handcrafted to order. This is fine art, not mass production. Please allow adequate time for your piece to be created with the care and attention it deserves.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
We ship orders using trusted carriers to ensure your fine art prints arrive safely.
Standard Shipping (3-7 business days):
- Included free on orders over $500
- Cost calculated at checkout for orders under $500
Expedited Shipping (2-3 business days):
- Available for additional cost at checkout
- Not available for freight shipments
Freight Shipping:
- Required for large ready-to-hang pieces (over 40" short dimension, 60" long dimension)
- Specialized freight carriers for crated installations
- White-glove delivery available for Immersive Scale pieces
Actual carrier selection depends on:
- Item size and weight
- Destination address
- Shipping method chosen
Processing Time
All items are handcrafted to order after you place your order.
Because each piece is created individually with museum-quality materials—either in my studio or by world-class fine art printers—production takes time. This isn't Amazon Prime; this is fine art.
Small Prints (Print-Only, Unframed):
- Allow up to 2 weeks for production
- Actual time varies based on current order volume and production schedule
Larger Prints and Framed/Ready-to-Hang Pieces:
- Allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery
- Includes printing, mounting/framing, quality inspection, and shipping
Immersive Scale Installations (Very Large Format):
- Timeline varies by project
- Requires individual consultation and custom scheduling
- Contact us directly for timeline estimates
Order Confirmation: You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is received and another notification with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping Destinations
Domestic Shipping: We currently ship to all 50 United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Additional shipping charges may apply for Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories.
International Shipping: Select products may be available for international shipping. International availability is shown at checkout. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and any fees imposed by their country.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Package size and weight
- Destination address
- Shipping method selected (standard or expedited)
Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Free Shipping: Orders over $500 qualify for free standard shipping within the continental United States.
Freight Shipping (Large Ready-to-Hang Pieces): Pieces over 40" on the short dimension and 60" on the long dimension require freight shipping:
- Freight charges are passed through at cost
- Actual costs depend on size, destination, and carrier rates
- You will be contacted with a freight quote before finalizing your order
- Typical freight costs range from $200-800+ depending on size and location

Packaging
All prints are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery:
- Rolled Prints: Shipped in heavy-duty tubes with protective end caps
- Flat Prints: Shipped between rigid backing boards in protective mailers
- Mounted/Framed Prints: Double-boxed with corner protectors and cushioning
- Large Installations: Custom wooden crates built specifically for each piece
Tracking and Delivery
Tracking Information: You will receive tracking information via email once your order ships. You can track your package through the carrier's website.
Signature Requirements:
- Large or high-value shipments may require signature confirmation
- Freight deliveries always require signature
- You may request signature confirmation for any order
Delivery Timeframes:
- Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days after shipment
- Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days after shipment
- Freight Shipping: Varies by location, typically 5-10 business days
Shipping timeframes are estimates. Actual delivery times depend on carrier performance, weather conditions, and delivery location.
Delivery Issues
Package Not Received: If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it:
- Check with neighbors or building management
- Verify the shipping address on your order
- Contact the carrier to file a claim
- Contact us at chad@ziemendorf.com if unresolved after 24 hours
We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
Refused or Undeliverable Packages: If you refuse delivery or the package is returned as undeliverable, you will be responsible for:
- Original shipping costs (non-refundable)
- Return shipping costs
- Any customs fees or duties incurred
Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
We cannot redirect packages once shipped. If you provide an incorrect address:
- We are not responsible for lost or misdelivered packages
- Additional shipping fees will apply to reship to the correct address
- You may need to place a new order if the original cannot be recovered
Business vs. Residential: Please indicate if shipping to a business address. Some carriers charge different rates and have different delivery procedures for businesses.
Shipping Damage
Inspecting Your Order: Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If you notice shipping damage:
You must report damage within 48 hours of delivery.
- Do not discard packaging materials
- Take clear photographs of:
- Exterior packaging damage
- Interior packaging
- Damaged print or product
- Email chad@ziemendorf.com with:
- Order number
- Photos of damage
- Tracking number
We will file an insurance claim and arrange for a replacement.
International Shipping Details
Customs and Duties:
- International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees
- These fees are determined by your country and are not included in our shipping costs
- We cannot predict or control these fees
- Refusal to pay customs fees may result in package return at your expense
Customs Forms: We accurately declare all items and values on customs forms as required by law. We cannot mark items as "gifts" or undervalue items to avoid customs fees.
International Processing: International shipments may be delayed by customs processing. Typical customs clearance takes 3-10 business days but can vary significantly by country.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Before Shipping: You may cancel or modify your order before production begins. Contact us immediately at chad@ziemendorf.com.
After Production Begins: Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or modified as each piece is made specifically for you.
After Shipping: Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery, but original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Holiday and Peak Season Shipping
During peak seasons (November-December, Mother's Day, Father's Day):
- Processing times may be extended
- Carrier delivery times may be longer
- Order early to ensure delivery by specific dates
We are not responsible for carrier delays during peak seasons.
